At the 1st level, the Marine gains Endurance as a bonus feat.
Beginning at 1st level, the Marine may count his Marine levels as fighter levels for the purposes of qualifying for feats. If you gain this ability from other classes, the levels stack.
At 2nd level, a Marine may select a type of terrain from the following list:
Arctic, Desert, Forests, Jungles, Mountains, Plains, Starships (interior), Starships (exterior), Swamps, Underground, Urban, Water
The Marine gains a +2 bonus on Initiative, Perception, Stealth, and Survival checks and to his base speed when in this terrain, and does not leave a trail unless he chooses to.
Every 4 levels thereafter, he may choose an additional terrain to apply these bonuses to. If more then one terrain type applies to an area, the bonuses do not stack.
At the 3rd level, and every 4 levels thereafter, the Marine may choose a free combat feat of his choice, as long as he meets the prerequisites.
At the 4th level, the Marine gains Sneak Attack as a bonus feat. If he already has sneak attack, his damage increases by 1d6. Every 4 levels thereafter, the damage increases by an additional 1d6
At 5th level the marine adds half his class levels to his survival checks to follow or identify tracks.
When he reaches 9th level, a Marine can avoid even unusual attacks with great agility. If he makes a successful reflex saving throw against an attack that normally deals half damage on a successful save, he instead takes no damage. Evasion can be used only if the Marine is wearing light armour, medium armour, or no armour. A helpless Marine does not gain the benefit of evasion.
Beginning at 13th level, a ranger can move at his normal speed while using Survival to follow tracks without taking the normal -5 penalty. He takes only a -10 penalty (instead of the normal -20) when moving at up to twice normal speed while tracking.
At 17th level, the Marine may hide in any of his favoured terrain, even if there is no cover or concealment. If he already has this ability from another class, his Stealth checks in favoured terrains increase by an additional +4.
